Dalila's Story...

As a former family caregiver, I understand the emotional and physical weight that caregiving carries—day after day, often behind the scenes. My caregiving journey began at home, where my sisters and I cared for our mother as she lived with diabetes and required in-home dialysis. That experience shaped my compassion, resilience, and deep commitment to supporting families navigating complex health needs.
I bring professional training as a Community Health Worker, along with years of experience in an educational setting supporting students, families, and school communities. This background strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, advocate effectively, and assist families in navigating systems that can often feel overwhelming. Additionally, my earlier background includes work in long-term care settings, and faith-based hospital volunteer service, further reinforcing my commitment to service, support, and compassionate care.
At Sharon His Grace, I am honored to walk alongside caregivers through education, encouragement, and resource navigation; offering compassion, faith, and grace every step of the way.
