Our Story
Sharon His Grace was born from a simple but powerful truth: dementia changes everything. And, no one should have to walk that journey alone.
As families began sharing their stories, a common thread emerged. Caregivers felt overwhelmed, unprepared, and isolated; trying to navigate a complex medical system while carrying deep emotional and spiritual burdens. Too often, support came only after a crisis, and guidance arrived late, fragmented, or not at all. Sharon His Grace exists to change that experience.
We serve families living with dementia by offering no-charge support, education, and coaching rooted in person-centered, evidence-based care. Our approach emphasizes slowing down, paying attention, and responding to unmet needs with empathetic compassion rather than control. We believe many of the challenges associated with dementia are not problems to be managed, but messages to be understood.
At Sharon His Grace, we walk alongside caregivers and care partners as they learn what to expect, how to anticipate changes, and how to prevent small moments from becoming overwhelming emergencies. We help families navigate medical systems, advocate effectively, and make informed decisions, while holding space for the grief, fatigue, and grace that coexist in this journey.
Our work is grounded in the belief that every person living with dementia retains inherent dignity, worth, and the right to be seen as a whole person. We also believe caregivers deserve the same respect, support, and care they so freely give to others.
Above all, Sharon His Grace is faith-anchored. We trust that God is present in every season of dementia—meeting families in both beauty and heartbreak, offering comfort, wisdom, and hope. Through this mission, we seek to reflect His grace by supporting families, strengthening communities, and honoring lives touched by dementia with compassion and love.
